[Elsewhere] He is an actor and director, born and raised in New York. As an actor, his recent theater credits include I Was Tom Cruise (FringeNYC – Outstanding Play Award, dirs. Alexander Poe, Joseph Varca), Dreyfus in Rehearsal (Theater Row, dir. Chad Larabee), I.E., In Other Words by Mark Greenfield (The Flea Theater, dir. Kip Fagan, prod. support Barry Mendel), Cherubina by Paul Cohen (PL115, dir. Alexis Poledouris), Daniella Uses Dirty Words (Abingdon Theatre Company, dir. Kim T. Sharp), Nobody Likes The Mormons (Ars Nova, dir. Kerry Whigham), and work regionally at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. He has worked with Obie winning writer/director Alex Timbers on many projects, including Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Joe’s Pub/Les Freres Corbusier), Peter and the Starcatchers (La Jolla Playhouse/Disney, dirs. Roger Rees, Alex Timbers), Dance Dance Revolution (Les Freres Corbusier), and Hell House (St. Ann’s Warehouse/Les Freres Corbusier). He has participated in readings at companies including MTC, Atlantic Theater Company, Clubbed Thumb, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, and the Lark Theatre Company. His TV credits include Law and Order: SVU and As The World Turns. His film credits include Nora Ephron’s Julie and Julia, Little Big League, Honeymoon in Vegas, and Striptease. As a director, he assisted Trip Cullman on Dog Sees God at the Century Center for the Performing Arts and Sweetness at the Summer Play Festival. His own directing work includes productions with Woodshed, as well as productions of Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure and Chekhov’s The Bear. He graduated with department and general honors from Vassar College as a Philosophy major, where he received the Vernon Vable Prize for Overall Excellence in Philosophy.
