Sarah&#8217;s first film project was licensed and aired by HBO in 2000. She has worked for MTV Networks in New York and as a writer and researcher for the BBC in London. With The Assembly (formerly The American Story Project), she has co-created and directed We Can’t Reach You, Hartford (Edinburgh Fringe First Nominee), Daguerreotype (The Abingdon Theater complex), What I Took in My Hand (The Ontological Theater, the Brick Theater), Clementine and the Cyber Ducks (The Ontological Theater, reading at P73) and The Dark Heart of Meteorology (UNDER St. Marks). Other recent projects include: The Sister (reading, The Public Theater), American Treasure (PSM, 13P), We Declare You a Terrorist (Assistant Director, SPF), The Civilians’ Paris Commune (Assistant Director, The Public Theater), and directing short pieces for Sticky (The Bowery Poetry Club) and The Public Theater’s 2008 Emerging Writers Group. As a producer and development professional, Jess has worked for The Civilians and The Public Theater. She is a New Georges affiliated artist and a founding member of their new multi-disciplinary artists lab, The Jam. Jess graduated from Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Theater and English with Honors, and was awarded the Rachel Henderson Theater Prize as well as an Olin Fellowship for her work on Hartford.</span></p>

She has been a three-time finalist for the Actors Theatre of Louisville Heideman Award, a finalist for the Weissberger Award, a semifinalist for the Princess Grace, and the winner of a Best in Fringe award for excellence in playwriting from the New York International Fringe Festival. Screenwriting honors include Slamdance Finalist and Special Jury Prize at the Avignon/New York Film Festival. She teaches playwriting through the continuing education programs of New York University and Hunter College. MFA, Brooklyn College.</span></p>

		<description><![CDATA[A companion to the Nancy Quinn Fund Technical Assistance Program, the Nancy Quinn Fund provides cash grants of $500 to $2,000 to companies with annual operating budgets under $100,000. These awards are often the first a company receives and are used to help them meet their greatest challenge. Since 1993, the Nancy Quinn Fund has awarded a total $703,800.

It’s about a half baked but well-meaning, amateur philosopher in his forties and his relationships with his teenage protégés. </span></p>

<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 13.0px 'Times New Roman';"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Anna Kerrigan is a screenwriter, playwright, and director based in New York City. Under the mentorship of Neil Labute, Anna wrote and directed Roost, an independent feature film shot in Western Massachusetts. Production for Roost wrapped in May 2010 and the film is currently in Post Production.  A 2004 graduate of Stanford, she received the University’s Robert Golden Medal Award for her thesis production The Poor, which she wrote under the mentorship of Artist-in-Residence Cherrie Moraga.  In 2009, Anna was invited to join the Ensemble Studio Theater’s Youngblood Playwrights group for promising playwrights under 30. She has developed a number of screenplays and plays both in New York and at the Williamstown Theatre Festival where she also assisted Obie Award-winning director Alex Timbers. She works as a freelance writer for online, alternative, print and on-air advertisements as well as in Television and Film production. Anna has also held jobs as a dogwalker, publicist and barista. Cook has recently directed Crabquistador: Scavenger of God (Ars Nova), Rockberry: The Last One-Man Show (The Brick), The Secret of the Mysterious Baby (Columbia U. &amp; Luna Lounge), No Direction Homo: The Many Identical Persona of Dan Fishback (P.S. 122), Misgivings (West End Theater). Other credits include: Go, Dog. Go!, Bluebeard and Alice in Wonderland (Hangar Theater), Handel’s Semele (Opera Theater of Yale College Guest Artist). Yale: Romeo and Juliet, Lulu, Only We Who Guard the Mystery Shall be Unhappy, Titus Andronicus, Little Tales of Misogyny, Uncle Vanya, The Nature and Purpose of the Universe, She Loves Me, and Death and the Maiden. Most recent: co-writing, directing and playing the director in Jollyship the Whiz Bang’s Straight Up Vampire, an edutainment Paula Abdul jukebox musical about vampires in Colonial Pennsylvania (Bowery Poetry Club). Drama League directing fellow. Yale College 2005.</span></p>
