Floridita, My Love is a darkly-comic nightmare about the invisible in America, set in the border crossings between the real and the imaginary, Harlem and Morningside Heights, Mexico and New York.

Javierantonio Gonzalez studied with Argentinean director Rubén Pires and the Ecuadorian Group Malayerba, two of his major influences. Additionally, studying under Rosa Luisa Márquez, he worked as a teacher in several elementary schools and communities. At twenty-three Javier moved to NY to obtain his MFA in Directing. He is the author of four original plays and adaptations.
